Sugar Shack the Documentary is sweet but has holes and the Shack turns three

It’s been a pretty good three years for Richmond and doughnuts.

This Saturday the little shop that could turns three. They’re going to celebrate the anniversary in their usual style. Raffles, games, special flavors, free photo booth pictures, good music, great coffee, and perhaps a doughnut or two. Also rumor of unicorn shirts a shirt as rare as the mythical beast itself. The fun kicks off at 6 AM and last until 9 PM.

Below is a Humanities 2016 Senior Documentary filmed and produced by Reena Jung, Morgan Mitchell, Dominga Murray, Kelly Reilly, and Abigail Staub. A glimpse into the life and times of the doughnut makers and what makes them so special to many Richmonders.
