Style Weekly dines at Grace Noodle

“The lack of frills is as much of a given at Grace as the better-than-average ramen.”

Of the recent smattering of new places offering ramen I’ve found I like Grace Noodle (1823 E Main Street) the best. Their noodles are a step above and that makes ups for some other shortcomings.

This Style Weekly review feels much the same way.

The lack of frills is as much of a given at Grace as the better-than-average ramen. The ambiance is underwhelming: Even though it’s full of pretty wood and brick like so many Shockoe Bottom buildings, the restaurant isn’t a looker.
