Society menu to take a southern turn

Chef Todd Brady plans to bring southern culinary delights with a twist to the nightclub.

Society  is better known as a nightclub than a restaurant but it’s stepping up their dining game with a menu revamp. Chef Todd Brady most recently of the now closed Dixie Chicken, (best fried chicken ever) is leading the change. Todd’s heart and stomach has always been in south and this menu will reflect that love of southern cuisine. He stated that he can’t give out the menu yet since the owners and he are still fine tuning but he did give a preview of what to expect.

Know there will be southern classics with some twists, fried chicken and pork belly will be essentially the same. Soft shell crab bahn mi, avocado deviled eggs, littleneck clams in ham hock dashi with pea shoots, boiled peanuts and cornbread croutons., duck bbq on sweet potato biscuits, lots of nice seasonal Va,NC coastal seafood. Home made condiments, house made pastrami, pickles, preserves, you get the picture.

If the owners turn Todd loose in the kitchen you can expect great things to show up on your plate. We’ll be keeping on eye on this and updating with a menu when we can.
