RTD dines at the Fan Noodle Bar

“Reading over the menu, I was baffled by the dish. But now, I’m smitten.” – Marissa Hermanson/RTD Restaurant Critic

I’ve only been to Fan Noodle Bar once for lunch and was happy with both the service and the meal.

I stuck with the simple but perfectly cooked Steak Kabob and the more traditional Thai Pho noodle soup. The pho was tasty but I’m not quite ready to give my meal the adoration that the RTD does in their review but then again they tried completely different items.

The Singapore spaghetti was served with stir-fried Italian spicy sausage, red bell peppers, onion, Chinese broccoli and basil. The spicy Italian sausage paired surprisingly well with noodles that were lightly coated in curry powder and oil and garnished with energetic cilantro. Reading over the menu, I was baffled by the dish. But now, I’m smitten.
