RTD dines at Level

Come for the light show stay for the food.

The RTD review of Level (2007 W. Broad St.) really likes the interactive light up bar and the food options are solid in the old insurance office turned Asian fusion restaurant.

Thai basil chicken ($15) boasted a textured, aromatic mix of onion, zucchini, carrot and bell peppers in a well-balanced Thai basil sauce. I’ve had too many versions of this dish where a gelatinous, cloying sauce ruins it, but Level’s version was refreshing and zingy.

Both specialty sushi rolls we tried were beautifully presented with trees and flowers drawn in sauces on each plate.
