RTD dines at Continental Divide

Have you been?

Continental Divide  summer moved into Mint’s old spot at 2501 W. Main Street this summer with much fanfare and excitement from Charlottesville transplants. This is the second location for the restaurant, the first being in Charlottesville and promises, “Southwestern comfort food, margaritas and tequila in a lively environment.”

The Charlottesville spot has a loyal following but this review from RTD found that the skills in the kitchen have not been so easily duplicated.

My dining companion and I spent our dinner experience reminiscing about Charlottesville’s Continental Divide. Knowing the dishes and loving the restaurant, we arrived knowing what to expect from each dish we ordered, and just how good each dish could be.

But here in Richmond, the dishes didn’t deliver. We had to rely on the two homemade hot sauces throughout our meal to add flavor to each dish.
