Original Gravity and the homebrew revolution

Beer.

From RTD:

He said a homebrewing starter kit, with basic equipment and supplies for a 5 gallon batch of beer, costs about $200. More elaborate systems can run into the thousands of dollars.

“We will do collaborations with other homebrewers,” he said. “And we’ll do kits for some of the beers we produce, and we may do multiple versions of the same beer so people can compare them.”

Homebrewers are as diverse as they beers they brew. From the extremely casual who buy a kit at Original Gravity and call it good to the extreme that grow their own ingredients and fine tune recipes. One thing that is universal amongst these brewers is a love of beer and the joy of creation.

That passion has allowed Original Gravity to expand and is having a direct influence on the local brewery scene.
