New beer and art popping up at Triple Crossing today

Beer and art one often leads to the other.

It’s not uncommon for local breweries do collaborate with other breweries but Triple Crossing is taking the creative approach of collaborating with local artists. Local artists have certainly done excellent work on other labels throughout the Richmond beer world but a brewery turning into an art gallery is a bit more unique

The first in the series of these partnership debuts today with the release Dust and Echoes Tart Ale and art by Samantha Brodek.

In my artwork, my goal is to illuminate darkness and to reveal and expose the “negativity” in the world that most people try to ignore. I seek to expose and reveal aspects of the world people tend to ignore; that people perceive negatively and perhaps choose not to perceive at all. While revealing these things (this darkness) it is extremely important for me to focus on the inherent, delicate beauty that lies within these shadows.

Samantha’s art will be available to purchase all month. However you need to get down there tonight starting at 7 PM if you’d like to meet Samantha and check out limited pieces available for one night at the brewery.

The beer on the other hand will be available until it runs out. Dust and Echoes Tart Ale is a Berliner Weisse with mango and blackberry purée and with a low ABV of 4% means you can enjoy more than a few.
