Martini Kitchen and Bubble Bar to become new bar and restaurant

It’s unnamed at this point but expect craft beers when it’s done.

Richmond BizSense.com has the news that the shuttered Martini Kitchen and Bubble Bar (1911 W. Main Street) will re-open under the stewardship of Roland West (general manager of Off the Hookah) and Hani Atallah (owner of Off the Hookah and Southern Railway Taphouse).

No word on the name but the interior is getting a $300,000 to $400,000 upgrade and when done will have a craft beer and American casual food focus.

West said he was attracted to space because of its size and parking. The property shares a parking lot with an ABC store and a Family Dollar near Main and Meadow streets.

“You don’t have to leave your friends at the bar, because everyone fits in here,” West said. “And you don’t have to parallel park.”
