Join us on April 25 at the Virginia Historical Society for “History on Tap: Washington, Spies, and Cider.”

The program includes a pre-screening of AMC’s Turn: Washington’s Spies Season 3, Episode 1; discussion; and a glass of Blue Bee Cider’s Hewe’s Crab (a favorite of our founding fathers, including Washington & Jefferson.)

Courtney Mailey, Owner of Blue Bee Cider, will preview the colonial cider, and Paul Levengood, President & CEO of the Virginia Historical Society, will speak about George Washington items in the historical society’s collections. The evening will also include a talk and discussion about espionage during the Revolutionary War featuring Dr. Edward Lengel and Lynn Price from the Papers of George Washington.

Following the discussion, there will be a book signing with Dr. Ed Lengel.

The ticket price includes the screening, discussion, and a glass of Hewe’s Crab cider.
