Country Style Donuts opens West End location

The 24 hour donut shop is Country Style’s first new location since opening on Williamsburg Road in 1968.

Country Style Donuts, one of the area’s oldest donut shops–in operation since 1968–is finally expanding its footprint. The longtime Williamsburg Road staple opened its second location at 6:00 AM this morning in the West End.

Owner Waswa Nasserddine first told RVANews’ Nathan Cushing back in 2013 that the shop was looking to open a second location, but hadn’t yet found a spot.

Country Style settled on a 2,218-square-foot space in Gold’s Gym Plaza at 8900 West Broad Street, near West End Drive. The shop is located between Gogi Bibimbap and Nora Taste of Lebanon.

Perhaps the best news about this location is the arrival of the West End’s first 24 hour donut shop. Country Style will be open around the clock Tuesday through Sunday, and closed on Mondays.

Country Style people are always trying to compare them to Sugar Shack like they need the validation. All handmade donuts are delicious and I love them all in their own special ways.
