Christian’s Pizza coming to Harrison
Christian’s Pizza will move into former Yogie’s Yogurt Shop at 404 N. Harrison Street.
Putting a pizza joint right next to a major college is not the most original business plan but it definitely a strong business plan.
Richmond BizSense.com has some details on Christian’s (named for the owner not the religion) Pizza.
Owner Christian Tamm plans to open in the 1,400-square-foot space in June. Tamm launched Christian’s Pizza 14 years ago and sold off his pizza holdings in Charlottesville in favor of Richmond.
“When I came to Richmond, I decided to do a couple of stores,” Tamm said. “I sold the pizza places in Charlottesville and I’m a Richmond guy now.”
Tamm and partner Andrew Vaughn are a few weeks away from opening the area’s first Christian’s Pizza at 7003-A Three Chopt Road in the Village Shopping Center. The Harrison Street shop is a solo venture for Tamm.
