Celebrate the Yuletide with a Cold Press and Wood Fire Oven

Tis the season for breads and juices.

Gulp Juicery and Sub Rosa Bakery (620 N. 25th Street) all this week have been serving up fresh, 100% raw, organic cold pressed juices and nut mylks. These juices and mylks even have their own special name,  * BRUMAL * BLENDS *  and are only available through December 23rd at Sub Rosa Bakery.

The following holiday thirst quenchers, were made this past Monday and will be made again on the 21st in limited batches based on this week’s demand.

Raw-Nogg Nut Mylk

  • Filtered water
  • Almonds
  • Cashews
  • Mission Figs
  • Coconut Butter
  • Maple Syrup
  • Nutmeg
  • Cinnamon
  • Ground Cloves
  • Pink sea salt

But hold the tastebud phone you know that Sub Rosa isn’t going to let you down during the holidays. Not only are they making holiday special items, they’re taking all kinds of special orders over the phone and in person, especially for bread. You have until Christmas Eve at 2 PM to take pick up or pick out your baked goods.

Some of their goodies:

  • Imperial Rye is a whole rye homeslice bread with, Hardywood Imperial Gingerbread stout,  Seven Hills honey, walnuts and rum soaked currants
  • Panettone you may have spotted this traditional Italian sweet bread loaf with candied orange peel and currants at Easter but now it’s back and ready to be consumed by you and yours.
  • Chestnut Chocolate Tart this tart brings the ganache and chestnut custard in two sizes.
  • Last but not least don’t forget the Biscotti for your morning, afternoon, evening coffee.
