Blue Bee Cider wants you to celebrate their 1st Birthday at the cidery

Bluegrass, cake, ice cream, cider, and smoked meats. The only other things you need to know are the date and time.

To celebrate their release of a new mulberry-infused cider (which you can see infusing above), Fanfare, and celebrate one year of being in business Blue Bee Cider (212 W 6th St) is offering music, tours, cake and ice cream on July 26 from noon to 7:00 PM.

The Slack Family Bluegrass Band will play from 1-4:00 PM and Mel (a.k.a., Dad) will come back from retirement for cidery tours at 1:30, 3:30 and 5:30 PM

Camden’s Dogtown Market will be serving up tasty savory, smoky, and meaty eats until 5 p.m. They’ll cut the three Shyndigz cakes and dish out the ice cream from Bev’s Homemade Ice Cream around 2:00 PM. Shyndigz cakes and Bev’s Ice Cream is a reason to show up all by its self.

Fanfare is a rosé cider blend of Stayman, Pink Lady and Gold Rush infused with wild mulberries foraged by the Blue Bee Cider team and members of the Richmond community. Many of the mulberries came from customers who traded their picked berries for a bottle of the finished product.
