For Wednesday, most of the rain has abated, but the clouds are sticking around for another day. Mostly cloudy conditions will dominate the day, with some breaks this afternoon, as temperatures are able to climb near 70 for a high today. There’s still the chance, albeit small, of another passing shower or two during the day; some interacting areas of low pressure will keep the threat around for one more day. Any accumulations today should be minimal. Lows Wednesday night will be near 55.
Squirrelcast (vs. Erie, 7:05pm): Mostly cloudy skies linger through the evening. First pitch temperature will be near 70, dropping to the lower 60s by 10pm. Rain should hold off and keep your baseball experience dry, but a brief isolated shower could pop up.
Thursday will be the first truly rain-free day we’ll have this week. The skies will graduate to partly cloudy, and temperatures Thursday climb into the 70s for the first time since the 16th. Low temperatures Thursday night will fall back into the mid 50s, with continuing partly cloudy skies.
Squirrelcast (vs. Erie, 10:35am): This will probably be the nicest day of the series. Game-time temperatures will be in the mid 60s, climbing to near 70 by game’s end. Skies will be partly cloudy with some sun peeking through.
After a break on Friday for sun and milder temperatures, the wet pattern returns for most of the weekend. I’ll have a full update on Friday.
