Weather! Change is on the way

We’ll see some additional cloudiness on Monday associated with a dry cold front passing through the region. It won’t bring any moisture or make a huge impact on temperatures; we’ll still see high temperatures in the mid 60s.

The fantastic weather of the past week is finally coming to an end.

We’ll see some additional cloudiness on Monday associated with a dry cold front passing through the region. It won’t bring any moisture or make a huge impact on temperatures; we’ll still see high temperatures in the mid 60s. Lows Monday night will stick a little on the warm side, only reaching the mid 40s.

An area of low pressure riding the front from the Gulf of Mexico will bring rain to the area for most of Tuesday. Precipitation will begin early in the morning and last through the day, not truly tapering off until overnight Tuesday night. Temperatures will be moderated by the rain, with highs reaching the low 60s, and overnight lows cooling into only the low 50s. Total precipitation will be highest west of I-95, with amounts generally between one half and one inch, with lower values east of I-95.

Once the front clears on Wednesday, things will dry out pretty quickly, and we get another round of high pressure behind it. Clear skies will rule for most of the rest of the week, though temperatures will cool off some later on. I’ll have an update Wednesday morning.
