Valentine’s Day ideas from Little House Green Grocery

You’re staring down the barrel of Valentine’s Day. The answer is obvious. Beer and pickle tasting.

The number of times I’ve impressed a loved one on Valentine’s Day could be counted on one hand and you wouldn’t need to use all your fingers. Luckily for all of you, I’ll likely forget until too late even though I’m the one writing this up, Little House Green Grocery has a few options.

They’ll also having a beer and pickle tasting. There wasn’t anyway I wasn’t going to post about a beer and pickle tasting.

  • Did you know you can order Oysters, chocolate truffles and prosecco for pick up on Valentine’s Day?! Now that’s classy…. Locally made chocolates, fine soaps, bath salts, and massage bars are all in stock too! – February 1-14th
  • Valentine’s Day Dinner for Two – It’s like having a personal shopper for you at the grocery store. They’ve got three meal options planned out that include shrimp, steak or polenta. Tell them what you want, pick it up, cook it for your loved one, easy peasy. February 1-14th (They say through the 14th but you might want to get your order in early so they don’t run out.)
  • If cookings not your thing swing by their art table and make a Valentine’s  to hang in the window. Also a good project to take the little ones on so they get in on the heart action. – February 1-14th Ongoing Art Event!
  • Finally the reason you all read this far. Beer and Pickles.  – Taste beer from local producer Lickinghole Creek Brewery, whose Belgian style beers have become legendary already.  Pair their brews with RVA’s own Pickled Silly, and you’ve got fixin’s for a Friday fun Friday night! – Friday, February 7th – Free Event! 5 -7 pm
