Capital Ale House
- Will start selling growlers this Friday, October 29. The 64 ounce refillable bottle will sell for $5.00 and most of their draught selection will be available to purchase.
- Pumpkin Mash Bash on Friday, October 29 from 5-10pm. Features fall beers, some that won’t be found anywhere else.
5pm: Weyerbacher Pumpkin, Paulaner Oktoberfest, Southern Tier Pumking, WAW Pumpkin Ale
7pm: Heavy Seas Great Pumpkin, Cottonwood Pumpkin, Terrapin Pumpkinfest
8pm: Dogfish Head Punkin, Brooklyn Post Road Pumpkin, New Holland Ichabod
9pm: Heavy Seas Greater Pumpkin (Bourbon Barrel Aged), The Bruery Autumn Maple - All four locations will be rolling out a brand new menu in the next few weeks.
Richmond Beer Week: November 5-12. Each day, something special on tap at all three locations. - Beer and Cheese Tasting: November 18 at 7pm. Capital Ale House and Ellwood Thompson’s are hosting a tasting event at the Downtown Capital Ale. Tickets are $15.00 and will feature six unique cheeses paired with six unique craft brews. Ellwood Thompson’s cheese guru Dany Schutte will present the cheeses along with Brown Distributing beer connoisseur Jacob Brunow. There is limited space for this event. Buy tickets here.
