Triple Crossing to open next Friday

Triple Crossing is at 113 S. Foushee Street and will have four beers when the doors swing open.

Richmond.com has had two great bit of beer news this week. The first is on The Business Behind Richmond Beer Labels, three of the labels above came from that article, and now a second article that breaks the news that Triple Crossing Brewery (113 S. Foushee Street) is planning to open at 12:00 PM on Friday, April 11th.

The starting lineup for the first day will be Falcon Smash IPA, Liberty or Death Porter, Element 79 Golden Ale and a Single Hop Saison. [Learn more about the names and labels]

“We will have Popping Mealies [food truck] serving food all night and a DJ from Deep Groove Records,” Worcester said. Triple Crossing will be selling tickets for beer in order to speed up lines (separate line selling tickets which can then be redeemed for 12oz beer pours).

“Also, we will not be serving growlers until our Tax Day Celebration on April 15,” he said.

The guys with Triple Crossing said they want to produce enough beer to distribute to a few Richmond bars and reserve the rest for the tasting room. The beer is almost ready now and the bar certainly looks ready for customers.
