The world is coming! The world is coming! Let’s greet it with litter-free streets and well-manicured parks (and maybe make these standard conditions in a post-Bike Race world?). Visit Handsonrva.org’s Opportunity Calendar for dates and times when you can help mulch, plant, clean, tidy and otherwise spruce up various areas of town in advance of the UCI Road World Championships, which begin on September 19. Don’t worry if you’re not handy with a trowel. They’ll show you what to do.
