TIP! A very happy hour

We are almost unwilling to share this happy hour with you, as it is one of our favorites, and a crowd would be unfortunate. But, our HUGE HEARTS won out!

There are many, many happy hours in Richmond–there are even several within walking distance of my office. But the one I find calling my name in dulcet, hoppy tones is the one at Postbellum.

Monday through Friday, from 3:30 PM (which, by the way, is when all happy hours should start) to 6:00 PM, all Virginia draft beer is half off. Given the high quality and quantity of Virignia beers, this is insane! Regardless of those two things, this is still insane! There are, of course, some caveats:

1. The drafts are 12 oz. pours–but for just a couple bucks, who cares!
2. You must decipher their Rosetta Stone of a beer menu. (Protip: black dots mean it’s on tap)

Bar snacks are half off (rosemary peanuts, y’all!) and draft wine is half off as well. PLUS, Postbellum has an incredible rooftop patio that’d be an absolutely perfect place to celebrate this afternoon’s stunning weather.
