Restricted parking district decals expire on June 30, 2011. Decal renewal applications for residents in Restricted Parking Zones 1 and 2 will soon be sent out by the city, and may be returned by mail or in person at City Hall. In addition, the Fan District Association has arranged a one day sale for Fan residents to purchase decals and avoid a trip to City Hall.
ONE DAY SALE: Wednesday, June 1, from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. at The Conrad Firm, PC, located in the Stonewall Jackson Bldg, 1520 West Main Street, Suite 204, Richmond, Virginia 23220.
Parking permits are $25 per car and guest passes are $35 per car. Payment at this sale is restricted to only checks or money orders ? cash will not be accepted. You may download an application (www.richmondgov.com/Parking/FanDistrict.aspx) and fill it in beforehand. Additional applications will be available on site.
What to bring: In addition to your completed application, the following items will be required to purchase permits;
- Home owners are required to show proof of ownership; real estate or deed preferred.
- Renters must have a copy of lease and the application must be signed by property owner or landlord.
- DMV vehicle registration for all vehicles.
- Students using domicile other than Richmond must provide a copy of full-time schedule.
PLACEMENT OF DECAL: PLEASE NOTE a change from last year. The decal should be placed on the inside of the car on the lower left portion of the rear window on the driver?s side ? this is a change from the current requirement of placing the decal in the front windshield. So please remove old decals from your vehicle or you may be ticketed.
