Richmond Magazine’s annual event recognizing standout restaurants, chefs, staff, and more will take place February 21st at the VMFA.
In a town as food-centric at Richmond, Richmond Magazine’s Elby awards are a hot ticket. The fifth annual awards event will celebrate the city’s best restaurants, chefs, staff, and more.
This year’s Elbys event takes place Sunday February 21st, 2016. Doors open at 6:30 PM; ceremony begins at 7:00 PM, with a reception to follow at 8:00 PM.
The awards will recognize a winner from a list of nominees in 12 categories. More than 40 industry professionals, food writers, culinary instructors and food society members submitted nominations.
The Elby winners will be chosen by judges who are not involved with the nomination process and are not Richmond residents. The Elbys “En Blanc” white party reception will follow the award ceremony. Savories will be provided by Culinard and J. Sergeant Reynolds Center for Culinary Arts.
Tickets include admission to the award ceremony and reception as well as a year-long subscription to Richmond Magazine.
Early bird tickets are $75; no tickets will be sold at the door.
