Supper Punch!!! The final results

Last week we witnessed our 9th and final Supper Punch battle. In order to keep you all in as much suspense as possible, we decided to wait to announce the winner of week 9 until today, when we will also announce the final results in this epic war for culinary supremacy. Can you handle it?

Without further ado, let us begin.

Our winner for week 9 was…Nick Dawson! Well-deserved, too — he really pulled out all the stops with those Moules and Frites.

So here we are. After over two months of stiff competition and 27 meals prepared by our tireless competitors, it is time to announce the winner.

Tying for 3rd place are….

Sarah Bonkovsky!

(Winner of week 5) Sarah won the hearts of Supper Punch fans with her family-friendly, locally-conscious, and often gluten-free dishes that made delicious food seem much less intimidating.

and…

Ross Catrow!

(Winner of week 6) Ross showed us that all it takes to make a good meal are some standard ingredients, a little imagination, and a lot of butter.

In second place we have…

Nick Dawson!

(Winner of weeks 1, 4, and 9) We learned quickly that Nick takes his food seriously. Every meal is a labor of love, a work of art, and pretty much guaranteed to make you weep.

And now, the winner of Supper Punch 2010…

Jennifer Carnam!

(Winner of weeks 2, 3, 7, and 8) She’s sassy, she’s sophisticated, and she knows that all meals can be made better when paired with some really great booze. How could Richmonders refuse?

Many thanks to Sarah, Jennifer, Ross, and Nick for letting us bust all up in their kitchens over the last two months (and some change). And a special thanks to our readers who checked back each week without fail to share their thoughts, cast their votes, and just get generally stoked about food. We’ve had a great time with this…we hope you did, too.
