Student death at VCU
A VCU student was found unconscious in Gladding Residence Center this morning. It appears that the student died of natural causes, and foul play is not suspected. VCU officials are contacting the student’s family and providing counseling to the student’s friends. More on this as it becomes available.

When I was in college, we had a loss like this my junior year. Very sad and shocking to everyone…I don’t remember the roommate ever recovering, and I think he transferred.
