  • [vcu]Larry Sanders[/vcu] was named CAA player of the week after another dominating performance against Akron.
  • [ur]Kevin Anderson[/ur] was named A-10 player of the week after his dominating performance against George Washington.
  • [ur]Richmond[/ur] is now ranked #23 in the AP poll and #24 in the Coaches poll. The Spiders have the week off to prepare for Xavier on Sunday.
  • [vuu]VUU[/vuu] enters the CIAA tournament a #3 seed after losing the coin toss to Bowie St. to determine the Eastern Division Champion. VUU lost to Bowie state in the last game of the regular season. The Panthers will have a first round bye and then take on the winner of St. Paul vs. Shaw University on Thursday at 3pm.
