Soccer Shots kicks off summer programs in July

Regretting your easy-breezy approach to keeping your kids entertained this summer? Spots are still available in Soccer Shots’ summer classes!

OK, parents. As we approach our third week of summer vacation, you’re probably starting to feel like the honeymoon is over when it comes to hanging out with your kids all day, every day. Maybe it’s time to consider adding some extra-curricular fun to your family schedule?

Soccer Shots will kick off its Summer Park Programs (i.e. open to the public)1 within the next couple weeks. In case you’re not familiar with the program, Soccer Shots is focused on providing high quality, high energy “intro-to-soccer” instruction for preschool- and elementary-age kids. So think of it more as a soccer “class” rather than a team, per se.

While Soccer Shots is a national program, its Richmond chapter is run by former Kickers player Evan Harding and staffed by local professional and college-level players and coaches. Each 45-minute class takes place once a week for five weeks. Cost is $66 per child.

Check out where your kids can get a taste of the beautiful game around town this summer…
