Almost anywhere you go at the James River in downtown Richmond there are signs of the city’s industrial past. Dams, bridge piers, concrete structures, etc. Should the broken relics of Richmond’s past be removed?

I got lucky one beautiful summer day and got some good shots off the Manchester Bridge.  I would never want to see the river without all man-made alterations to the landscape, but I’ve participated in plenty of conversations about the junk in the James.
