Second Saturdays on South Side

Support the local scene.

This Saturday, February 8th, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm is the premiere of Second Saturdays on South Side. Local businesses have banded together to celebrate their individual talents every second Saturday of the month.  Stop by TaZa (coffee, chocolate, beer/wine), Epoch (wine tasting & Jazz), Muse Me (unique art, furniture and more), and Crossroads (music starts at 8:30, beer, ice cream, coffee, food) for a night of music, spirits, and art. Close enough to each other to walk, but ample parking if you prefer to drive.

  1. This is a great idea. I’m glad they’re doing this. I hope others will join in…maybe 1/2 price margaritas on the Cielito Lindo patio when the weather gets warmer?

On a side note Richard, I sure do miss the old blog format. Adds are way too large on this one. The other format was easier to navigate too.

Lets make Southside RVA’s U-n-C District…..”Up n Coming”! I love to see fun events on this side of town….that I can walk to!!!

  3. Nest is also open that night from 7-10 for a gallery opening featuring the works of Chuck Scalin. Nest offers antiques, custom jewelry, art, gifts and more! Close to Crossroads on the Avenue.
