Info on MARTIN’s “$1 Coupon Doubler,” changes to Kroger’s fuel rewards program, and details on where you can get meat, fruit, and frozen treats on the super duper cheap.

With a recent change to Kroger’s fuel rewards program, Kroger shoppers can now choose to redeem their fuel rewards points at 37 participating Richmond-area Shell gas stations, in addition to the Kroger fuel centers. While fuel rewards can be “stacked” at Kroger fuel centers — combining available $.10 rewards to receive up to $1 off per gallon — the Shell discount can only be redeemed for $.10 off per gallon each fill-up.

More details about the program changes can be found on Kroger’s website.

Unfortunately, Shell gasoline tends to be pricey, and the $.10 savings might not be enough to compensate for the higher per gallon cost over another station. You can check RichmondGasPrices.com to see how your local Shell stacks up to the competition.

This week, MARTIN’S is offering “$1 Coupon Doubler” coupons in its circular. To use them, present one coupon doubler with one $1 manufacturer’s coupon at checkout. The manufacturer’s coupon value will be doubled, for a total of $2 off. The fine print is that the limit is 4 doubled coupons per household, and minimum spent must be $15 after coupon savings.

Kroger has a Proctor & Gamble product deal for $4 off when you buy 4 participating products, including Pampers, Tide, Bounty, and others. For more savings, load some e-coupons onto your shopper’s card from Kroger’s website for $2 off Tide, $3 off Charmin, etc, or clip coupons from the 7/4 P&G insert.
