Kroger TROUNCES Ukrop’s this week with their March to Savings mix-and-match promotion, including some killer servings when you buy eight (wyb 8) of certain products.
With all due respect to Ukrop’s,* I think the deals are at Kroger this week with the “March to Savings” mix-and-match promotion — save $4 at checkout when you buy 8 participating items. All items below, except strawberries, are part of the promo and all prices listed are AFTER $.50 savings per item when you buy (“wyb”) 8.
Meat Top Pick
Bumble Bee pouch tuna $.49 wyb 8. Use $.55 coupon from the 2/21 SmartSource insert to get it FREE. There’s also a printable coupon for $1 off 5. The caveat to this great deal is that you may have trouble finding them in stock.
Veggie Top Pick
Del Monte 14.5oz canned tomatoes $.49 cents wyb 8. Combine with “$1 off 4” coupon from 2/7 RP insert.
Fruit Top Pick
$1.88 for 16oz strawberries at Kroger
Dairy Top Pick
Smart Balance butter blend sticks are $1.49 at Kroger wyb 8. I found them next to a coupon dispenser with $.75 coupons, making the final cost $.74 a package
Staples Top Pick
Can’t beat dry pasta at Kroger for $.49 a box wyb 8 – Brands included at Creamette, San Giorgio, Ronzoni Healthy Harvest, and Ronzoni Smart Taste. Printable coupons: $.75 off 1 Smart Taste, $1 off 2 Healthy Harvest
Snacks & Sweets Top Pick
DiGiorno or California Pizza Kitchen pizzas $3.97 wyb 8. CPK pizzas become an even better deal the more you buy – Buy 2, receive a coupon at checkout for $1 off your next purchase; buy 3, get $2; or buy 4, get $3.

Household Top Pick
Lysol household cleaners $1.99 wyb 8. Use $.50 coupons from last Sunday’s Smart Source** insert to make them $.99 each.
