RVA Deals

More on making eCoupons part of your weekly cost-cutting efforts. And find out where you can get a 12-pack of Pepsi for under $3 and disposable razors for almost nothing (among other great deals around town).

Last week I discussed some eCoupon basics; this week it’s time to try them for yourself by checking out the websites offering them (in parentheses I’ve listed the grocery stores that accept them):

Shortcuts (Kroger) – Sponsored by AOL and offers simple eCoupons for popular brands like Huggies, Pampers, General Mills, and Betty Crocker, as well as even some Kroger products.

P&G eSAVER (Kroger) – Another basic eCoupon site, this one dedicated to savings on Proctor & Gamble products.

Cellfire (Kroger) – To use Cellfire, you register using your cell phone number in addition to your Kroger card. The eCoupons are linked to your grocery card, but there are also non-grocery coupons to stores like Hollywood Video that can be redeemed just by displaying them on your phone.

Upromise (Kroger, Ukrop’s, CVS) – Upromise does eCoupons slightly differently. Instead of receiving the coupon savings deducted from your bill, the coupon value is added to your Upromise college savings account. (The money doesn’t actually have to be used for education; you can request a check payout in writing). If you’ve never registered for Upromise, you can get a $5 sign-up bonus in your account by entering code “UK5.”
