River City Food Tours hosting Carytown Sweets Tour this weekend
If you’re looking for something fun to do this weekend, a walking tour filled with chocolate and candy doesn’t sound like a bad idea.
Carytown, otherwise known as The Mile of Style, has a nice eclectic mix of restaurants, boutiques, and historical landmarks, not to mention plenty of places to satisfy your sweet tooth.
You can see the sweeter side of Carytown this weekend with the Carytown Sweets Tour on Saturday, May 9th. During the hour-and-a-half long stroll, you will sample a diverse selection of treats from cafes, bakeries, confectionaries, and more (venues to be announced, but I can guarantee they won’t be disappointing on that stretch of Cary Street).
The tour takes place Saturday at 11:30 AM and runs through 1:00 PM. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online. Meeting location will be announced with your purchase confirmation.
