Richmond Beer Week

In its third year, Richmond Beer Week highlights the best local craft beers and the restaurants that love them. Here is what you can expect over the next 10 days.

Richmond Beer Week ushers in its third year with a bevy of beer-related events around town. Spanning 10 days, these events will shuffle beer lovers to restaurants and breweries around town to highlight the best in local craft beer.

Here are the scheduled events:

November 2nd

• Gallery 5-First Friday • Local beer sampling / Screens & Suds Art Preview • 7:00 – 10:00 PM
• Capital Ale House • 10th anniversary celebration • All Day
• Libbie Market • Virginia Beer Sampling • 5:00 PM

November 3rd

• Bold Rock Cider • Sampling at South of the James Farmers Market • 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Crossroads Coffee and Ice Cream • Oskar Blues Event • 1:00 PM
• Capital Ale House • 10 Year anniversary celebration • All Day
• Gallery 5 • Screens and Suds Beer and Art Event • 4:00 – 9:00 PM
• Midnight Brewery • Midnight Harvest Festival/Open House • 1:00 – 7:00 PM

November 4th

• Historic 17th Street Farmers Market • 2nd Annual Autumn Bottom Brews Festival • local vendors, 20+ VA beers, music, and food trucks • 12:00 – 6:00 PM
• Station 2 • After party for Autumn Bottom Brews focusing on special limited beers from VA Breweries • 6:00 PM
• Local Suds RVA Brewery Tour • A tour of four breweries in RVA area. Percentage of profits going to 2BnB bus sine • Begins at Mekong at 12:00 PM
• Legend Brewery • Open House and Winter Beer Invitational • 1:00 PM

November 5th

• Mekong • RVA Appreciation Day • 5:00 – 9:00 PM
• Pin & Pint Parade • A bar crawl focusing on some of the Fan’s favorite beer bars. (Commercial Tap House at 5:30 PM, Secco at 6:30 PM, and Weezie’s at 7:30 PM). Each location will have a special Virginia pin of cask beer freshly hand tapped.

November 6th

• The Blue Goat • Beer Dinner with Devil’ Backbone Brewery and Slowfood’s RVA Chapter • 6:30 PM
• Joe’s Inn • Hardywood Park Tap Invasion • 6:00 PM

November 7th

• Fat Dragon • $45 a head, VA Beer Dinner featuring O’Connor Brewing, Devils Backbone, Hardywood, five courses • 6:30 PM
• 821 Café • Heavy Seas pin tapping – meet Spencer Hannas from Heavy Seas Brewing • 6:00 PM
