Yeah I can say that they’re an alternative country/Southern rock from Athens, GA, and, yeah, I can say that they only record in analog using two-inch tape and, yeah, I can also say that they bicker with their label to release their albums on vinyl. But that only scratches the surface of what this band is all about: they’re rock and they’re country and they’re rhythm and blues.
Their most recent album, Go-Go Boots, “rises like smoke from the old Muscle Shoals country-and-soul sound.” Last time they were in Richmond they’re set lasted close to three hours.
