Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure is this Saturday, and as with any race, you should expect street closings and parking issues. Here’s what to expect…

The following streets will be closed on Saturday during the listed time period:

  • South 5th Street between East Byrd and Tredegar streets will be closed from 3am to 12pm.
  • Tredegar Street between South 5th and South 7th streets will be closed from 3am to 11am

Parking will not be allowed on Saturday during the listed time period:

  • South 5th Street between East Byrd and Tredegar streets from 3am to 12pm.
  • Tredegar Street between South 5th and South 7th streets from 3am to 12pm.
  • South. 5th Street on the west side between Tredegar and East Cary streets from 3am to 12pm.
  • South 2nd Street on the east side between the Lee Bridge and East Cary Street from 3am to 12pm.
  • East Cary Street on the south side between South 1st and South 5th streets from 3am to 12pm.
  • Both sides of Canal Street South 2nd to South 6th streets.

    Why do they always make it so dang hard to find the race MAP on those race websites? I like my street closures in visual form.
