Quirk Hotel: Photographic evidence

It’s here, it’s almost finished, and it’s going to be a big deal.

The long-awaited Quirk Hotel, the newest, largest child of Ted and Katie Ukrop, is about to open its doors. Fully booked for the Big Bike Race™, the hotel is poised to be the “OMG you were able to book Quirk Hotel for your fancy party?” while also being the “Let’s meet up at Quirk for my birthday, ladies,” while ALSO being the “You have to go eat at the rooftop bar just once in your life” place in town. I’m not sure Richmond has that place as of yet, so this is good news.

Not to mention that when your hip friends come to visit from New York, you can casually suggest Quirk as a place to stay, throwing in a comment about how it’s also where you go to pick up some new art.

A photographic preview

Looking up into a meeting room from the courtyard floor. Those dashes to the left are where the old floor joists used to be. You'll see them repurposed shortly.
