Bill Bevins, Lite98 Morning Show host and man-about-town, serves as Master of Ceremonies at next weekend’s Powhatan Festival of the Grape. On Saturday, October 23, from 11am to 6pm, you can sample from 10 food vendors, 25 Virginia wineries, and over 100 juried arts and craft vendors. Live entertainment includes Casper, Steve Basset & Ammon Tharp with the Mystic Soul Bubbas, juggler Jonathan Austin, clowns, and face painting.

Tasting tickets are $20 in advance, or $25 at the gate. Non-tasters are only $15 in advance, or $20 at the gate. Children 12 and under are free. Purchase tickets online at www.powhatanwinefestival.com or call 804.598.2636.

The festival is located at Powhatan’s Historic Courthouse Square at 3880 Old Buckingham Road. No pets, coolers, or backpacks allowed. The 8th annual festival is sponsored by the Powhatan Chamber of Commerce. The Powhatan YMCA will also be sponsoring a 5k run in conjunction with the Festival that day, though registration is already closed.
