Richmond Police Department detectives are still seeking information from the public to help identify and find the man in the surveillance video who attacked and robbed a security guard in November, 2013.

Shortly before 11 p.m., Saturday, November 23rd, the man attacked the guard in the 2400 block of West Cary Street. He stole the guard’s wallet and cash.

The surveillance video shows a black male park and exit from a Chevy Suburban and approach the guard from behind before punching, kicking and robbing him. The vehicle, probably from the 2006 or 2007 model year, is dark in color, possibly dark blue.

Anyone with any information about the identity of this vehicle, man or crime is asked to call Detective Joe Fultz at 363-8914 or call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
