Pizza Tonight pop-up, finding patios, and Sette expands

No, the food news in Richmond does not slow down for Independence Day.

Join Pizza Tonight for a one night stand on July 29th! The folks at Lamplighter are going on vacation and have lent their space to Pizza Tonight for a one-night pop-up dinner/event/awesome thing. The $65 ticket gets you a ton of courses, each paired with wine or beer, with proceeds benefiting FeedRVA. Collaboration between local businesses is wonderful (and delicious)!

You know what’s really annoying? How our city has a trillion really great patios and I can never decide which one is closest to my current location. Luckily, there’s an app for that, and it’s called Find a Patio. Just point your device or web browser to FindAPatio.com and sit back as a flood of nearby patios inundates your screen. As God as my witness, I’ll never be patioless again!

Sette–slingers of pizza down in the Bottom for years now–is renaming, rebranding, and expanding. They’ll now be known as 23rd & Main Kitchen & Taproom at Sette. Richmond.com has some more details on the beer-focused (12 taps of craft beer) concept. The Taproom will open this Saturday, July 6th.

You probably already knew that Richmond was home to Ledbury, the world-famous shirting company. You also probably knew that RVA’s chefs are some of the best (and coolest) in the nation. Well, the logical extension of these two facts is manifest: Ledbury has put together a lookbook featuring a bunch of local culinary wizards. Note: it’s probably not a great idea to cook dinner in your Ledbury shirt, just saying.
