Yesterday a thunderstorm ripped through Richmond leaving trees down and thousands without power. Here’s some photos of the damage left behind. The two YouTube videos taken from the Diamond are definitely worth watching.

    I got a quick shot of this old, abandoned building at 21st and E Franklin. Upon further inspection it seems to have a tree inside its second story. I should probably go see what destruction lies on the other side.

    That poor house on Monument was just rebuilt from being burned a year ago or so. I feel just awful for those owners, that must feel terrible, having your house burn down and then a giant tree fall on it as soon as it’s rebuilt. :(
