Lemaire chef headed west to open his own restaurant concept
Chef Walter Bundy plans to open his own establishment at the Libbie Mill development after two decades at the helm of the restaurant inside the Jefferson Hotel.

After nearly two decades at Lemaire restaurant inside The Jefferson Hotel, Chef Walter Bundy is getting his own restaurant.
The new spot is not yet named, but it will open in the spring in Libbie Mill-Midtown, a mixed-use development in the works off Staples Mill Road in Henrico County that includes Southern Season.
“It’s time to do my own thing. I’ve had this dream since I started doing this,” Bundy said.
