Rocketts Landing is hosting “Rocketts Red Glare,” a new family-friendly event that will take place on the banks of the tidal James River at Rocketts Landing on Labor Day (Monday, Sept. 5).

The family-friendly event begins at 7:30 p.m. with a performance by the Richmond Symphony Orchestra. The Orchestra will continue playing Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture during the fireworks, which are set to begin after sunset, around 9:15 p.m.
Rocketts Red Glare is free for all ages and will take place along the banks of the James River at Rocketts Landing. Picnic baskets and beverages are welcome, along with chairs and blankets for seating.
