Innsbrook Foundation, Rotary Club team up for “Taste of Virginia”

The event takes place July 2nd at the Innsbrook Pavilion in Glen Allen.

The Innsbrook Foundation, the Innsbrook Rotary Club, and Capital Ale House are teaming up for an event featuring a bevy of local food and craft beer July 2nd.

From event organizers:

The Innsbrook Foundation and Innsbrook Rotary are teaming up to put on one of the greatest culinary events in Richmond and support local charity partner, FeedMore. Celebrating all things Virginia, Innsbrook Taste of Virginia, presented by Capital Ale House, will be showcasing delicious dishes from local restaurants, each competing for the honorary “Taste of Virginia” title. Enjoy live music and entertainment throughout the day and take part in the finale, not to mention the only, fireworks show in Richmond that night!

Arrive at the Innsbrook Pavilion with an empty stomach and allow your taste buds to guide you through the finest cuisine the Richmond metro area has to offer, featuring an array of diverse flavors from around the world including Greek, Italian, Caribbean, Mexican and more! Each restaurant competitor will be providing a $3 sample plate of their signature dish from 5-7pm, as well as many additional menu items for purchase during the entire festival. Indulge in sweet and savory selections that will leave your mouth watering for more.

Innsbrook Taste of Virginia is about more than just incredible food. The festival will also be featuring 10-12 local breweries, providing up to 20 different craft beer selections. In addition, Virginia vineyards will be adding refreshing and delicious wine to the beverage list.

Not only does Innsbrook Taste of Virginia provide delectable food for you and your family, this event helps support FeedMore. FeedMore is Central Virginia’s core hunger-relief organization comprised of programs like the Central Virginia Food Bank, Meals on Wheels and the Community Kitchen. Working together to efficiently and effectively fight hunger, FeedMore is dedicated to nourishing the community while empowering lives. Bring your friends and family to support this important cause!

As a family-friendly event, Taste of Virginia welcomes all ages to partake in the fun. In addition to Kid’s Zone activities, moon bounces and corn hole, live local bands will be providing the soundtrack for the festival. Hear upbeat tunes from Jackass Flats and Three Sheets to the Wind all throughout the day. Peruse the artisan market and explore the variety of craft vendors and local businesses while connecting with foodies and friends alike!
