Henrico Restaurant Week returns October 2nd – 11th

The week-long event will benefit the Henrico Christmas Mother program.

From Henrico Restaurant Week organizers:

Henrico Restaurant Week will return for a second time in 2015 – from Oct. 2-11 – this time to benefit the Henrico Christmas Mother program.

The event will offer diners a chance to experience a taste of Henrico at a number of participating county restaurants, while at the same time helping to raise funds for the Henrico Christmas Mother program, which has assisted Henrico families since 1942. The inaugural Henrico Restaurant Week, held April 11-19, raised more than $5,000 for the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls.

The October edition of HRW will again offer diners the opportunity to enjoy two-course lunches for $10 or $15 and three-course dinners for $20, $25 or $30 at participating Henrico restaurants. Each restaurant will donate $1 from the sale of every fixed-price lunch and $2 from the sale of every fixed-price dinner during the week to the Henrico Christmas Mother program. Diners also will be able to make donations directly to the program through collection bins at participating restaurants.

Participating restaurants include: American Tap Room; Buz and Ned’s Real Barbecue; Dave and Buster’s; Deep Run Roadhouse; Family Meal; Firebirds Wood Fired Grill; Hayashi Sushi and Grill; Kona Grill; Kuba Kuba Dos; Maggiano’s Little Italy; Mama Cucina; Tarrants West; Texas de Brazil; The Grapevine; The Tin Pan; and Trak’s. Additional restaurants will be added in the coming weeks. Special Henrico Restaurant Week menus for each participating restaurant will be posted on HenricoRestaurantWeek.com as they become available.

Henrico Restaurant Week is an initiative of T3 Media, LLC, which owns and publishes the Henrico Citizen, HenricoCitizen.com, the Henricopedia magazine and DiscoverHenrico.com.

“The Henrico Christmas Mother Council is thrilled to be the beneficiary for the next Henrico Restaurant Week,” 2015 Henrico Christmas Mother Beverly Cocke said. “For over 70 years, our Henrico community has given generously to help their neighbors in need at Christmas time. HRW will be a fun and delicious way to spread Christmas Love to a diverse array of families and seniors this holiday season. Our heartfelt thanks goes to the Henrico Citizen for this opportunity to make Christmas time a little brighter in Henrico.”

Restaurants and sponsors interested in participating in Henrico Restaurant Week should e-mail HenricoRW@gmail.com or call (804) 262-1700, ext. 11.
