Henrico Police seek Staples Mill Road robbery suspect

The incident occurred January 6th around 7:15 PM.

On Thursday, January 6, 2016, at 7:14 PM, Henrico Police responded to the 6700 block of Staples Mill Road for a commercial robbery.  The victims reported that a black male, armed with a silver handgun, entered the business and approached the register.  The suspect struck a customer in line and pointed the firearm at the victim while demanding money.  The suspect then went behind the counter, removed currency, and exited the business on foot.  The customer was transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a black male, with a light complexion, and approximately 5’7” to 5’9”.  The suspect was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt with neon strings on the hood, dark jeans, white shoes, black clothing covering the lower portion of his face, and armed with a handgun.  Photographs of the suspect can be seen below.

Henrico County Police Division is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the subject responsible for this crime.  Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact Henrico Police at (804) 501-5000 or Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
