Ol’ Jobless Pops
Sam Davies lost his job, and that’s OK, because kids don’t really care that much what you’re doing with your professional life. All mine knows is that I “write articles,” and when you ask him what that means, the answer is “………?”

Ol’ Fun-Lovin’ Trevor
Did you watch our own Trevor Dickerson during his two minutes on King’s Dominion’s new Delirium? It’s pretty fun, and calms my nerves about the whole thing. To others in the office, it tore their nerves into tiny shreds. YOU MUST DECIDE FOR YOURSELF.

Ol’ Weird Art
Until well into my adult life, I didn’t realize that you didn’t have to Know Things about art, you could just experience it and enjoy the feeling it left within you. Triangle, Circle, Square is a quiet yet powerful experience, and I don’t even know why. I suggest you catch it before it’s gone. It’ll take you under 10 minutes, it’s free, and the results might be worth it.

Ol’ Hardywater
Today is World Water Day, which is not to be confused with Waterworld Day, the day in which we celebrate the not-really-as-bad-as-everyone-says 1995 movie starring Kevin Costner. Put down your Palm Pilot or whatever and get yourself over to the Boathouse at Rocketts for some non-watery beer by Hardywood, who will donate to James River Association and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, when you buy their beer. And Boathouse will match it! Kevin Costner will be so pleased!
