It was on the news this mroing

(People who aren’t into decade-old memes: you may send us a correction about that spelling, and we will send you a response just says “A woman in ar.” Anyway, Stephanie Ganz has done it again, she’s made us super hungry and also desperately unpopular, because we have canceled all of our plans in order to take advantage of everything in this week’s Food News.

General assembly panel

News that’s not as great

Legislation is moving through the GA that will allow state government officials to opt out of performing same sex marriages. Representatives of the government denying rights to citizens based on their own personal beliefs sounds like something this Sen. Charles Carrico (R-Galax) is just fine with being remembered for. In his defense, that strategy sure does work–am I right, George C. Wallace?

News flash, teachers aren’t paid enough

These rallying kids and teachers and parents and whomever elses are not having it. They grouped up yesterday at City Hall to protest teacher salary compression, and Heaton Johnson went and captured them. On film. He doesn’t kidnap children.
