Frostings makes list of ‘101 Best Cupcakes in America’ for second year
The West End cupcake shop was honored by online publication ‘The Daily Meal’
Local cupcake bakery Frostings, located in Short Pump, earned a nod from online publication The Daily Meal for the second year in a row for having some of the best cupcakes in all the land.
The bakery, owned by Matt Fraker and Jason Ferrell, was named in the publication’s list of the ‘101 Best Cupcakes in America.’

Inspired by the joy that he saw filling the cupcakeries on a visit to New York City, founder Matt Fraker decided to leave the world of teaching and bring a gourmet bakery of his own making to this Richmond suburb.
