Favorites: Pasture’s quail

Quail is a little bird that sounds fancier than chicken, but still invites you to leave your fork on the table eat with your hands–especially when grilled up and coated in a mustard and molasses glaze ($21). Dirty rice and broccoli complement the sweet and tangy flavors of the poultry and round out the dish. This tasty quail says a lot about Pasture, too: a menu full of beautiful food served without pretension, intended to be shared with friends, in an inviting dining room.
